Swedish massage is a modality for general relaxation using long, flowing movements. Ideal for first time massage clients or if you do not have any specific focus areas. Pressure: Light - Medium
Therapeutic massage is suggested to help relieve/decrease pain and/or stress, and to focus on specific areas. This can still include a full body massage, just with more time on the focus areas. Pressure: Medium-Firm
Deep tissue massage uses more pressure on the body in order to focus on the deeper muscle areas. Clients may have some soreness for up to 2 days after a deep tissue session.
Sports massage can be for pre-event, post-event or maintenance on specific areas used more during events. May involve stretching, myofascial release (breaks down fibrous layer of the connective tissue between skin and muscle), and/or trigger point therapy (direct pressure on spots along the body that are sensitive, cause pain and/or headaches). Pressure: Medium - Deep
Prenatal massage focuses on comfort and safety while relieving pregnancy aches and promoting relaxation. A lighter pressure is used and helps with lowering stress hormones and increasing circulation. Pillow(s) are used to help elevate the client while face up, and for support while in a side-lying position. If you are in your first trimester of your pregnancy, a doctors note is required before your session. Second and third trimesters are ideal for massage, but you should always consult your healthcare provider first. Pressure: Light - Medium (on select areas)
Foot reflexology applies pressure to specific points on the feet that are believed to correspond to organs, systems and structures in the body. Massage and thumb/finger pressure on specific points help to stimulate energy flow through those areas of the body. Pressure: Light - Firm
Enhance your massage session with your choice of essential oil. Different scents can help with different needs; lavender for relaxation, citrus for uplifting/energizing, eucalyptus for opening up the airways, etc. Or choose a scent you just like and enjoy it for your whole session. Available scents may vary based on availability. Some scents may cause uncomfortable side effects for prenatal sessions. Does not add any extra time to session. Sometimes a muscle needs a little extra help relaxing and a knot needs to be focused on with outside assistance. That's where a massage gun comes in handy. The percussion-like movements help break up adhesions that are harder and/or deeper than just hands can handle. Not available for prenatal. Not recommended for Swedish or lighter pressure sessions. Does not add extra time to session
Enhance your massage session with the use of hot stones. Heat from hot stones can help warm and loosen up the superior muscle tissue, making it easier to massage the deeper muscles. Not available for prenatal sessions. Does not add extra time to sessions.
Cupping (also known as "decompression" therapy) is used to pull/stretch the muscles from a different angle than just massaging into the body. This increases the work on the muscle, allows fresh blood flow to the area to promote healing and relieves pressure on the joints and body. Cups used at Zen Dragonfly are silicone, as shown in image. !!! CAUTION !!! Cupping therapy may leave marks on the skin ranging from light pink/red to a dark purple like a bruise that lighten with time, but can last longer than a week. Skin may be sensitive and/or irritated after session. Clients are urged to avoid extreme temperatures, strenuous activity, caffeine and alcohol, as well as to stay hydrated and keep the areas clean and dry during this time. Not recommended for clients that like a lighter touch. Not available for prenatal sessions. Does not add extra time to session.

Tea tree oil is known to be used to treat things like acne, dandruff, and swelling due to some minor irritation. Available for Corporate and private events (employee appreciation, company picnic, company anniversary/birthdays, private parties, etc). Minimum of 3 hours, maximum of 6 hours. First 3 hours are $300. Every additional hour is $85. Price based on a single massage therapist, given they can handle the work load (with breaks). If an additional therapist is required/available, it would be an extra flat rate of $40 per hour. Available within the Lehigh Valley at no extra cost. Anything outside of the Lehigh Valley will require a travel fee of $50. $100 deposit required at booking. Cancelation less than 1 week prior to event forfeits entire deposit. Cancelation between 1-2 weeks prior to event forfeits 50% of deposit. Cancelation any time MORE than 2 weeks prior to event will refund full deposit.
